Bukela Ufunde is a new and exciting multilingual online project of the College of Accounting funded by the Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority (FASSET).
The project identifies and prepares short concept videos on principles in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting which learners generally struggle with.
These concept videos will then be freely available via a brand new website, Learnaccounting.uct.ac.za, which the College of Accounting will be launching later this year.
The project team consists of lecturers from the College of Accounting, Walter Sisulu University and Wits. As part of the offering the concept videos will be available in English, Zulu and Xhosa!
As part of our ITC Preparatory Course, we recognise that some of the videos which make up the Bukela Ufunde resource bank, available at Learnaccounting.uct.ac.za, would be beneficial to candidates preparing to write the ITC. So we have selected a number of concept videos which we will be making available to our ITC Preparatory Course candidates via our UCT Board Course online learning platform.
We’ve selected Alex Watson explaining the difference between liabilities versus equity to give you a sneak peek of what you can expect of these concept videos.
